RubyCal LC is a resin-modified calcium hydroxide pulp protectant and liner, designed for use in both direct and indirect pulp capping procedures. Light-cured and radiopaque, RubyCal LC forms a protective, alkaline barrier that promotes pulp vitality and stimulates the natural formation of hydroxyapatite and secondary dentin.
With an alkaline pH > 12, it insulates the pulp and defends against acid from restorative materials while contributing to long-term pulp health. Its calcium ion release encourages dentin bridge formation, making it an ideal choice for pulp protection beneath all types of restorative materials and cements.
Compatible with all commercially available restorative materials, RubyCal LC offers excellent bonding strength, high compressive resistance, low solubility, and visible radiopacity for easy placement verification.
RubyCal LC comes in a large 2g syringe with making it cost-effective with less wastage.
